The Pearl Island Archipeligo contains over 100 islands, most of which have a volcanic origin. The large tidal changes in this area create high concentrations of nutrients, bringing with it an impressive variety of fish in all sizes. The sea bottom is sloping or stair-stepped, and has volcanic and coral formations. The coal grows between 20 and 30 feet depending on the tide. Brain and Orange Coral formations are abundant, and there are no dangerous corals common elsewhere in the world.

Our dives are near the islands and never exceed 60 feet, depending on the tide level. The water temperature between May and January ranges between 24c and 29c and in February through April between 18c and 20c. Visibility is associated with the currents, and not dependent on rainfall, with an average visibility of 15-30 feet occasionally up to 45 feet. In the summer prevailing winds come froom the north an shift to the south in the summer.
